USERNAME TAKEN

Overview
Username Taken is an original interview and podcast series I created and led at HyperX Arena Las Vegas. The show was built to give the arena a piece of owned media that could introduce new audiences to the brand while offering something more personal than traditional gaming content. Rather than focusing only on competition or surface-level promotion, the format was designed to explore how creators create, how gamers game, and what shaped them along the way.
Each episode was built around process, personality, and lived experience. We talked through the guest’s routine, creative habits, and personal story, then stepped into their world by doing their “thing” with them before ending the episode with gameplay together. The result was a format that felt more connected, more flexible, and more reflective of the people behind the screen.
